I just shaved my balls and it hurts?

I am 14 and have just started trimming my genital area and i don't know what to do for these types of things. First off i was using an electric razor but now it has a burning sensation. What should i do to take care of the burning? I used some Vaseline but it still burns but not as bad as right after i shaved.
