Chapped lips always dry i wonder why?

usually your lips get chapped for many reasons. The one that is the truth is, chapped lips happens from the cold. even if you put vaseline on your lips, it does wear off (you noticing or not), if your lips become wet, wetness attracts cold air. When your lips are cold with the breeze on them, the lips have to produce other substances to stay warm to prevent frost bite, which causes chapped lips.
